Wedding Flowers

On your wedding day you want everything to be beautiful.  The flowers are ordered specifically for that purpose, to set the tone for romance and beauty.  In the right setting, there is nothing more stunning than a wedding arch adorned with flowers.  Flower arrangements for wedding arches don’t have to be excessive to be beautiful, but often excessive is called for, too.  The wedding arch flowers need to match the overall theme of the wedding and can be done so by adding flowers directly to the arch or by placing urns of flower arrangements to either side of the arch and even behind the wedding arch.

If the wedding is outdoors, you can use any type of arch.

The further from your guests the arch will be placed, the larger the arch should be.  If you will be standing beneath the arch, it should be large enough so that you are not cramped.  The material of the arch doesn’t matter either unless the couple will be close enough to the wedding arch for the wood splinters to catch the gown or the metal to stain it.  Be careful about recently painted arches for this reason, too.

Flower Arrangements for Wedding Arches

Once you have decided on the type of arch you will use, you will want to decide how much of it you want to cover.  Have you carefully chosen a wedding arch that is beautiful standing alone?  You may not want to cover it completely with flowers or other materials.  Some people choose the least expensive arch that matches the size and style they need with the knowledge that they will be covering it completely.One of the most elegant and beautiful wedding flower arches is a simple arch covered completely with tulle or silk and then tied at intervals with ribbon allowing the material to pouf above the ties.

Flower arrangements are then attached to the ties, a crescent arrangement at the top of the arch and cascading bouquets similar to that which the bride will carry are at the sides.  If this isn’t flowery enough for you, wedding flower arches can be made where the arch is made completely of flowers.
