Many couples choose a love quote for their wedding invitations that may be carried on through the theme of the rest of their wedding, but how do you choose the right one for you?

Love is one of the most popular subjects for writers and musicians.  It has been the inspiration and theme of the most famous books, songs, movies and plays of all time.  People have talked and written about love from the very beginning of civilization, and themes of love can been seen on Egyptian scrolls, Chinese engravings and early religious texts from the Middle East.   So with so many places to choose loves quotes for your wedding invitations, how do you go about deciding which one is a perfect match for you and your fiancé?

First, think about what makes your relationship special?  Is it laughter? Compatibility? There are many other excellent poets who have written beautiful verse about love.  Why not buy a book of love poetry and read a few poems out loud to each other.  As well as spending some very romantic time together, you might discover a quote that you might never have heard before that strikes a chord and perfectly expresses how you feel about one another.

If at all possible, avoid really corny quotes and try to pick words that are meaningful to you and your partner.  You will remember this quote for the rest of your life, so be sure to choose wisely.
